Intervention K-4

Hello!!

     My name is Brenda Baughman. I have been teaching in the Medical Lake School District for over 25 years. This year, I have the opportunity to work with students from K-4th grade who need a little extra help in reading or math. I will be working closely with their teachers to ensure we focus on skills that will strengthen their learning. While at Medical Lake Middle School, I served as the Intervention Teacher for 6th-8th grade. I started this year in 6th grade, co-teaching with Dr. Kat. I will miss this amazing class, but with needs in other areas, it made sense to move into a role I came from to help other students in the building. I cannot wait to work with your children and their outstanding teachers. Don't worry, 5th graders, I will still pop in to say hi!

     When I am not teaching, I am raising my two magnificent boys. One is in 5th grade, and the other is in 3rd grade. I enjoy reading, listening to music, and spending time with my kids. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to email or call me.
