Our 3rd and 4th Grade ASB student leaders delivered over 400 cards, letters, pictures and paper airplanes to the Fairchild Airmen on Wednesday, June 9th. These were written and created by every student at MAE to present to the young men and women of the Air Force as a part of our new Kindness In Dorms (K.I.D.s) initiative, a budding relationship that our students will work to continue for years to come.

We couldn't let this week officially end without recognizing and thanking our classified employees as part of Education Support Professionals Week. Although transforming our school into a jungle for our Wild About Reading Festival was a total team effort, many of our classified staff truly roared as they worked tirelessly to convert our school into a wild jungle. Our paraprofessional wowed us with their talent to decorate our hallways, the level of detail that our kitchen staff exhibited on the display at our cafeteria window was astonishing, the entry to the library was definitely wild, and so much more.
